Watco Tack Coat is a high-strength, two-part epoxy adhesive primer designed to improve the bond between prepared surfaces and Watco Concrex repair mortars. It is particularly useful for shallow, thin-section or intricate repairs where maximum adhesion is required.
Suitable for floors, walls, ramps and steps, Watco Tack Coat can be used indoors or outdoors. It may also be applied over firmly bonded existing paint, provided the coating is thoroughly roughened to create a suitable key.

Coverage and application
Available pack sizes provide approximately 1 m² or 6 m² coverage with one coat.
Ensure the surface is clean and free from oil, grease, rust, loose material and poorly bonded coatings. Roughen any firmly bonded paint to provide a suitable key.
Pour the curing agent into the resin and mix thoroughly. Apply the mixed primer sparingly with a brush or roller and allow it to become tacky. Apply the repair mortar while the primer remains tacky to achieve the strongest possible bond.
The mixed product has a maximum working life of approximately 20 minutes at 20°C when transferred to a shallow tray. Higher temperatures will shorten the working time. The standard version should be applied at temperatures above 10°C.
