Watco Concrex Carbon Fibre is a heavy-duty, two-part epoxy repair mortar for long-lasting repairs to damaged concrete floors, ramps and steps. Its carbon-fibre-reinforced formulation delivers exceptional strength, making it ideal for busy industrial and commercial areas exposed to heavy traffic, impact and abrasion.

The resin-rich mortar can be applied in thin sections or feather-edged, allowing neat repairs to worn surfaces, broken floor joints and damaged step edges. Once cured, it creates a smooth, impervious and non-dusting finish suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Carbon-fibre reinforced for outstanding strength and durability
Stronger than conventional cement-based repair mortars
Ready for light traffic in as little as one hour at 15–20°C
Ready for heavy traffic in approximately four hours
Suitable for concrete floors, ramps and steps
Can be feather-edged for thin or detailed repairs
Resistant to abrasion and a range of chemicals
    Smooth, impervious and non-dusting finish
Suitable for interior and exterior applications
    Apply at temperatures from 10°C
Maximum application depth of 50 mm

    Coverage and application

A 10 kg pack covers approximately 1.2 m² at a thickness of 5 mm. The mixed product has a working life of approximately 30 minutes.
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from oil, grease and loose material. Mix the supplied components thoroughly until a consistent grey colour is achieved, then press the mortar firmly into the repair and finish with a trowel or float.
A primer is not normally required when filling holes or repairing rough concrete. Watco Tack Coat is recommended for smooth or damp surfaces, thin-section screeds and intricate or high-impact repairs such as damaged floor joints and step nosings.
