Both the Top Cap and the Top Extender can be removed once the concrete has hardened. The resulting formed deep channel in the case of the Top Extender, and the exposed empty round channel at top of the Screed rail, where the rubber insert fits, can then be filled with a proprietary flexible joint filler if required.
